Used for hundreds of years, rune stones are a divination tool similar to tarot or oracle cards, pendulums, divination or spirit boards, dowsing rods, and reading tea leaves. Drawing answers from the universe, spirit beings, or higher levels of consciousness these tools provide insight to concerns and situations of the seeker. The word rune simply means mystery, whisper, or secret. Runes can be made of various materials, but are most commonly made of stone, and feature a symbol from the runic alphabet on them.
